Teams of the Midseason & Awards
We have now reached the halfway point of the regular season, and all that we know is that Nathan’s The League in Review was right. Figuring out which teams get a spot in the postseason will be difficult, because after this past week’s match-ups, the gap between teams #2-#10 is a measly two games, and the gap between teams #6-#10 is at one game. It was a tough week overall for the teams in the Douchebag division as the top four teams in the division finished winless this past week. On the other hand, the Nice Guys finished 4-1. The bottom four teams, Dez, Ike, Buzo, and Raibon, all ended the week with a satisfying win. Finally, The Donald had its least dominate week of the season, but were still able to escape with a win and sit on top of the league with a 6-1 record. What else is new? Well, a lot. The resurgence of Lamar Miller and the trade for CJ2K has strengthen his RB position after the disappointment that is CJ Anderson did not provide anything for him. The DO DONES obliterated the Darren Sproles Ft. C. BREESy (I have no clue why Rolo has kept that team name) 146.1-79.4. This was all done without Christine Michael living up to the hype of all the fantasy gurus and wannabe gurus. The rookie WR Amari Cooper continues to develop a great rapport with Derek Carr, and the Rams D/ST keeps chugging along. For Rolo, Brees had a quiet game, Randle was injured and looks to be out for some time, and Hopkins and Fitzgerald had their worst games of the season. That is a recipe for a nice big L in almost every week of the season. There is hope next week can provide a better result with the return of a rested Eddie Lacy, Demaryius Thomas and Andy Dalton from their bye
