Niccolo Machiavelli work fit into its time because during the early Renaissance period, in Rome Alexander Borgia won the Papal election through bribery and he took money from the church for his own benefit. Due to that reason Italy start losing power and was in a bad condition. As Machiavelli grown up, he start to work in a job into the political position, he was a political advisor to the Borgia family.
