Nicasylus 'Change In Pankration'

The character Nicasylus does change significantly throughout the novel Pankration. In the beginning of the story Nic was a spoilt boy but as Nic forges friendships with people of all kinds, his attitude to others and to his life changed drastically. He meets slaves and slave-masters, the poor and the rich. As he sees both sides of the spectrum, he realises how hard life can be and slowly changes his attitude towards others as well as his perspective on life. Nic changes because of his friendships, his attitude towards others and because of the things that happen to him throughout the course of the story.

One of the main reasons why Nic changed immensely is because of the various friendships
