It was a beautiful day with an amazing location Niagara Falls, Canada. We were by the water falls and we walked a long way to get to the boat tour. And I was super scared because I do not like anything that floats on water. I was trying to recede from the boats. And there was a super long line and in my head I was saying thank you. But my dad finds another line by so much shorter so we got to the other line. And we had to go down a lot of steps and we get on the boat eventually I definitely had TONS of misgivings. But my mom bribed me with Dairy Queen so I got on.

I thought it was 100 times better than what I imagined it to be. Even though we put on ponchos my apparel got doused. But we dried off while we were eating lunch after that we went to the hotel to relax at around 7:15 we went to a fair to have fun until it got dark which was in about 45 minutes. We went to a lot of rides, haunted houses, and played games. We had to go back to the falls to see them at night with all of the lights it looks spectacular. This is when the craziness started to happen.

The nineteenth amendment of 1920 granted women the right to vote in American elections. Though it was a huge milestone in the quest for women’s suffrage, it omits a complex discussion of its true origins in the mid to late 1800s. Many associate the movement with names like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Additionally, places like Seneca Falls, New York are tagged as the birthplace of the Women’s Rights Movement in America. In The Myth of Seneca Falls: Memory and the Women’s Suffrage Movement, 1848-1898, Lisa Tetrault aims to uncover the mythological narrative constructed around the Seneca Falls Convention, as well as disclosing the factual complexities of the suffrage movement.…
