Niagara Falls Regional K-12 Institution The student population is very diverse. Class populations vary between 15- 20 students:1-2 teachers per class because we have a pretty large student population. This school is place on the edge of Niagara Falls, Canada, so inner city kids and suburban students come to our campus. We have k - 12 on our campus, but it is split between 2 different buildings for easy access and less crowding in the hallways. K-7 shares a 2 story building complete with a gymnasium, 60 classrooms, a cafeteria and 4 tech labs and multiple emergency exits. In the high school there are 3 stories and 96 classrooms for 8 - 12 and intermediate classes for helping some students catch up or go beyond the curriculum. Our school …show more content…
For our teachers we expect them to arrive at school with positive attitudes and the patience to help our students with anything they might need. As for our students we expect them to try with all their hearts to do their best each and everyday, every year, and we emphasize that. It is obvious that they will not know everything, but we hope they will speak out and get the help they need, and we have tutors and study periods available to help should students need it.
Our Teachers: Our teachers go about the school with a stern but nurturing attitude. They respect the opinions and beliefs of every student, and understand that not every student is born with raw, innate talent. Teachers at Niagara Falls give students the right opportunity to succeed in academia. From custodians to administrators, our staff has only the best in mind for each student. We will push students to do their best, for it is the only thing we settle for.

This helps our students retain information while still getting the classic summer vacation experience. Also, our school works on the students understanding the topic rather than just understanding just how to do it by slowing down the process unlike other schooling in America. We have extra tutors and staff to help struggling students in all subjects. The benefit to getting extra help and working on understanding what happening in our classes is that the students leave with a better understanding for what they have and that makes it easier to complete more complex problems in the future.

Values Statement
We value honesty and effort. In our school we believe that without honesty you can not achieve excellence because you could not focus on striving for your best work, but focus on hiding the things you could need help with. In the same sense we value effort because we do not believe that students can achieve greatness unless they work hard and give 110%

Ranch Hills High School is nestled into a bucolic, chaparral hillside, surrounded by rolling hills of shrubs and thorny bushes, typical of Southern California's wild, native landscape. The school is built on 72 acres of land once considered unusable due to the nature of the rural surroundings and impracticality of building on several steep slopes, according to Alice Kim of Architecture Week (2000). After collaboration between the City of Pomona and the Pomona Unified School District, two years of grading, $12 million in soil work, and $31 million in building expenditures, Ranch Hills High School officially welcomed students into portable classrooms in 1997 and after two additional years of construction, opened its main campus to students in…
