The purpose of this organization was to unify students in my local town and help address the issues that they faced in their academic pursuits. In my service as the secretary general, I organized visits to High schools in my area to provide career guidance to young learners, advising them on possible courses to pursue in college. I also spearheaded fund raising efforts and mobilize a raft of promising campaigns, initiatives and enterprises to tackle the obstacles of access to products, while smashing the taboo of what is a completely natural function. The positive impact of educating girls is no secret, and yet girls were still missing school due to completely preventable reasons. It’s a fact: girls get periods.
