The rev limiter is a crucial part and will not allow engines to use there max power and the teams are very concerned about that rule. Then the side that doesn’t agree to the fuel injection agrees to the hood change and the manufacture logo on the headers. So anything that one side likes the other side dislikes the only thing they have in common is that they are in the same race class. The fans are a crucial part in the rules and if they will be set in stone, because that is how they will grow the sport and class of Pro Stock racing. This is the hardest class to compete in. So the real question is will the new rules saves the sport because that is the main goal. The teams are frustrated and are tired of people not giving them the respect they deserve and spending tons of money in the process. The rules will change everything and everyone who is involved with the NHRA this is the game changer for the prostock drag racing class and hopefully it will save their sport in the process. In between the good and the bad in the end know matter what happens they will have each other and they will do whatever it takes to be a competitor in their sport. No matter how much horse power or money they spend to make their cars faster the greatest thing they will have is the will to win.
The whole reason for all of this is to save the sport and to gain fans and to help the sport grow in general. The NHRA is the biggest drag racing association in the world. (NHRA: National dragster) If the NHRA didn’t act on the problem they could have lost it all and the prostock class would have been lost and would have been no more. The class is supported by fans mainly and sponsors and multiple backers to keep the teams going through the cars breaking its all for or its all
