Upon looking through what I considered pointless programs (Competitive Drone Racing, seriously?), my eyes stumbled upon something that was entitled “Football”. I was immediately curious, did I miss the memo? Why wasn’t the game on NBC? Eight-on-eight, fast paced action, that is very different to what you would normally see in the NFL. I was expecting myself to change the channel to eventually watch the Seahawks-Patriots game, but I never did, the China Bowl was a surprisingly thrilling football game, with Beijing pulling out a game winning field goal against Qingdao, this coming only after the first attempt was missed, but a penalty flag was thrown, giving Beijing’s kick, Patrick Clark III a second chance at winning the game, which he successfully did, giving Beijing a 35-34 win. By the time it was over, I noticed that the “Game of the Week” was over, and I wasn’t even mad.
