I have had a very awful day today. I got fired from my job, my girlfriend left me, and my dog died. Luckily, the same day, I received a letter that I am a highly recognized draft prospect to enter the 2023 NFL draft, an old lady wrote in her will that when she died, she would give her dog to me, and I still have the keys to my ex’s home. I drove home thinking about the job offer that I had just received, when I found another job offer in the mail for being apart of the CIA or to be a security guard for the president. I walked around my house contemplating and meditating on all of the things that have happened today. I became infuriated at the thought that my partner left me and I decided to plan some type of revenge plot on her. It all started when I found her keys. What was I going to do with her keys? Maybe I could sneak into her house I thought to myself. Yes indeed I was going to sneak into her house and wreck some things inside. The next day, while she went off to work, I decided to make my move. Instead of driving my car, I walked instead because she would know if I was at her house if my car was parked in her driveway. Her house isn’t only three blocks away or so anyways. As I arrived at her house, somethings seemed a little different …show more content…

The football that we see in the National Football League (NFL) is the same as the Canadian Football League (CFL), but with different teams and rules. In the NFL, a team has four chances to get a first down (getting the ball ten yards), but in the CFL they only get three chances. Not only is the amount of downs different, but so are the amount of players on the field. In the NFL, there are eleven players on the field, opposed to the CFL, where there are twelve! In the CFL, they can fit twelve people onto the field easier because the field is bigger than the NFL’s field.…

Around this time of the year, I, like many Americans do, dedicate my Sundays to football. For me, it’s borderline unhealthy, sitting on my couch from 1pm to 7pm, glued to watching grown men in uniform wearing pads running into each other (NFL RedZone is great for this). Following the end of the normal games before NBC’s Sunday Night Football Game of the Week: which featured a huge game involving the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, I noticed I had some time to spare, so I decided to channel surf until then. Upon looking through what I considered pointless programs (Competitive Drone Racing, seriously?), my eyes stumbled upon something that was entitled “Football”.…
