When Hannah’s second husband passed her and Newton was reunited. Newton had three younger siblings. Newton had been attending the King's School in Grantham, a town in Lincolnshire, where he lived with a local apothecary which showed him chemisty. His mom removed him from the school he was attending. His mother wanted him to become a farmer and have him take care of the farm. Newton did not do so well in farming since it was something that did not interest him.

After Newton failed as a farmer he returned to King’s School to complete his education. Newton’s had an uncle who Attended and finished the University of Cambridge Trinity College, convinced Hannah Newton’s mother to convince him to enroll in the university early. Newton was supporting
