Recently in the news and on various social medias, viewers have been witnessing sightings of clowns hiding out at the edge of the woods. Often these clowns are accused of inviting people into the woods for candy. Being so close to Halloween, this situation was alarming for parents and community members. Sightings were reported in the states of, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin (Dwilson, 2016). Considering that there are 50 states in the United States, this is a huge portion. I interviewed Vanessa Frymier, to hear her opinions on the topic.

During this time, I was hoping she would change her body movement to me, giving me that “power” but she didn’t. During the whole interview we both held very different positions; holding movement dissynchrony.
During this time, I felt extremely rude. I felt like I wasn’t giving her the respect she was giving me by letting me interview her in the first place. I thought that maybe mid-interview she would ask if we could be done, and head to the movies which was our planned event after this. When I am having conversation with people I always have constant eye-contact with whoever I am talking with. Which made this skill even harder not to use.
