Being in New York was very different from Los Angeles because the tempo in California is more relaxed. In New York everything is fast paced they use every method of tranportation, walking is the main way to get around. Los Angeles is slower paced and people here get aound by car. New York has so much traffic on and off the streets. Though, New York City is probably my favorite place so far, just last year I had the opportunity to go, I fell in love instantly. The streets teemed with people and entertainers smells of smoke ,food, and perfume pervaded the streets. Loud music of town square Is barely heard over the blur of noise from fast paced citizens on their mobile devices having to yell to communicate to someone right next to you. Food stands and candy shops on every corner giving off wondrous smells. Gloomy weather made the city look magnificent on the cold day. People dress like model hipsters with their fadoras and vintage scarfs paired with a darkly colored trench coat.The number one experience for me would have to be Broadway. Whilst waiting in the long line of Broadway I watched as people sped By and street performers dancing, singing or playing an instrument. Anxious to finally get my ticket and watch the production "Les Miserables" I would periodically check the front of the line. Waiting in line for about 10 to 20 minutes was tiring, the wind began to pick up and the rain fell, since I forgot my umbrella at the hotel I was forced to buy a cheap one off the corner. Another 5 minutes past and we were at the front of the line and by then my umbrella already turned inside out and had broken. Finally inside the warm building we took off our jackets and found our seats, we waited once more. Waiting in the theatre was different from a regular movie theatre there was a sense of anticipation.To pass the time I observed everything and everyone, noticing the beautiful white diamond chandelier hanging
