New Years Eve is a big time for celebration in Brazil and Gabby even made it a point to say that it is bigger than Christmas. On this day it is tradition that everyone dresses in all white attire as it symbolizes peace, renewal, and hope that the upcoming New Year will be better than the last. It is also tradition to spend the night partying and watching fireworks on the beach.
