Revelations:
‘The last book of the Bible, Revelation, is also sometimes called the Apocalypse. Revelation is from the Greek word apokalupsis which means, “a disclosure, an unveiling.” The book of Revelation is an unveiling of the character and program of God’. (1) Many believe John to be the author of the Revelation, but in truth it is “The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place”. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John. (Revelations: 1:1 NIV). God is the author, and Jesus was the one who gave the revelation to an angel to give to John. The Frontline states 'The book breaks naturally into five major visions plus a prologue and an epilogue on how these came to be written down. This yields our basic outline of the work, as follows:
• The Prologue (1.1-3)
• John 's "Cover Letter" (1.4-20) and The First Vision
• The Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia (2.1-3.22)
• The Second Vision: In the Throne Room of Heaven (4.1-11.19)
• The Seven Seals and the Seven Trumpets

• The Beasts, the war, seven plagues, seven bowls of wrath, and Battle of Armageddon
