Stickers. The one object the school revolves around. The main reason we are in school is our love of the stickers. These magical, magical stickers are what keep us smiling. No, not really. In fact, most students don’t care that much about stickers, but Mr. Jolley has been working on some new developments to change the sticker policy into a more enjoyable experience for SMS, with more rewards and incentives. First thing’s first, you will learn about the previous sticker policy and the new incentive policy. Then, you will read about an interview with Mr. Jolley and his views on the stickers and what he hopes to change with them. Finally, you will read an interview with three students about their opinion on the stickers. The stickers are transforming into a more enjoyable experience for students, and everyone’s excited.

Mr. Jolley, our new vice principal, is planning on changing the sticker policy to being more rewarding and encouraging, so I asked him a few questions about the new
System. First, he was asked about the stickers overall and what he thought of them. “I think they’re great. I a son that was in a Tigard school district, and they used the same sticker process as Sherwood Middle School, and I’m excited to get started on revitalizing the sticker process.”
Next, he was asked what other sticker privileges and incentives he thinks the stickers should have. “I think that the stickers should give students early hallway access in the mornings, if they want to see a teacher or maybe even get to their lockers early. I would also like the teachers to have more trust in the student with stickers. For example: If a student wants to listen to music after he or she is done with their work, the teacher would go : ‘Sure, show me your sticker,’ And they would be able to do whatever was in the teacher’s limits of
