For Café LUX* to establish a branch in New Norcia, various internal and external factors need to be considered so as to import its coffee and pastries there. It is primordial to study the environment of the country in order to assure that opening a branch there will not result in loss of money and time. In this type of situation, the PESTEL analysis facilitates the decision-making process to whether this business can be implemented in New Norcia or not. Opening a Café LUX* branch there will not harm the country’s tradition or belief as everything will be done in transparency and conviction. Even monks can enjoy our fresh coffee and hot pastries without infringing their religions. The town locals and employees will also have a place to take a break and chat with friends in an atmosphere which will be similar to the monastery and churches which will be discussed in marketing objectives later. In addition, Café LUX* can also attract tourists as they will know that there is actually a coffee shop where they can take a break and

For a place like New Norcia which resembles and can be described as “a slice of old Spain in the Australian” (Emery 2014), technology is present in the town itself but has been kept to the minimum. By strict minimum, the town was made and displayed in such a way that it resembles Historical European style structure and not having technological features such as skyscrapers ("New Norcia" 2016). Despite this look of the town, there are some technological infrastructures such as the New Norcia hotel who has air conditioner and WIFI. Café LUX* will be able to adapt to this situation as it requires only simple technological machines such as coffee maker, oven, good furniture and good lights. The use of social media is a plus for the company as New Norcia is a tourism destination, thus the tourists may find information of the franchise on social networks such as Facebook and Trip Advisor which will increase sales in peak
