The most important invention was the Salt Water Taffy. Okay, maybe it’s not tasty but it’s candy? Air Conditioning, another thing that saved me in hot summer days. Invented by Haviland Carrier in 1921, it’s now used all over the world which is amazing. Band-Aids! It’s something we all take for granted today but who invented it? Earles Dickson’s Wife, if she wasn’t clumsy, the Johnson & Johnson employee may have never invented the Band-Aid. Though this isn’t popular now, it was back then. 1944 was when the TV Dinner was invented by William Maxon. He saw that people wanted to eat in front of their television so he made that better by making TV Dinners. Mr. Les Paul of Mahwah, invented the Les Paul guitar which was a really popular guitar that a lot of rock bands used. Thomas Edison also invented the lightbulb here. Goes to show how people like these changed the world and took it for a turn on their new inventions to help make life everywhere better for humanity.
