Like Reeve, I received my own room because I was young and a parent had to stay with me. I remember I would feel lonely. I the article, Reeve also felt lonely alone in his room. It feels lonely to be ill and lay in bed all day, but with the support of my friends and family I was much better and would not feel ill. Reeve had a lot of support from his family. Reeve’s wife and children supported him and kept him company as he improved. Reeve would receive visits from his family members and would cheer him up and that would help him feel better. Having support from his family helped him stay emotionally positive because if he did not have support from them, he would have been alone or may have suffered from depression. Reeve had a lot of positive support and the efforts he did to get better helped him feel better about his paralysis and began to move some of his muscles again
