Some people take risks for the better and some take risks not for the better. But no one takes risks for the same exact thing. For example, Annie Johnson took a risk to create a stable life for her and her children. Buck, he took a risk to survive and create a livable habitat. The Nasa Kennedy Space Center took a risk to make themselves stand out and to show who they really are. The three of these people had many differences on what they did and why they did it. However all share the ability to be successful in their risks and make their risks worth it to accomplish their goals.
Annie Johnson
In the story New Directions Annie Johnson was a determined woman who needed to create a stable life for her and her children. Annie Johnson had to learn to be an independent mother after her husband had left her and her kids all alone. In the text it states, “her dissatisfaction with their marriage..” She then had to become a single parent and doing that so, she was very brave. You see, Annie had no problem of taking on a new path. In conclusion, all of the three people needed to accomplish something very different, but they all learned the same thing in the end. For example, Buck had to learn how to survive, while Annie had to learn to be on her own, and Apollo 13 learned that you need to double check everything to make sure that it is working right. In the end of this brief reading we all should believe that if these people came up to us and told us their experience, we would all learn a lot of things from them and their
