Never Told Me Narrative

This narrative is about a realization I had. Though a long time has passed, I remember everything as it happened just yesterday. This changed me in a way, nothing ever could. Though I have nothing to prove it, I will only tell the truth because there is nothing to lie about. I don’t remember when my parents told me or how exactly but I have always known. We don’t really talk about it but I knew it was the truth. It is one thing to want to have an older sibling, but knowing she’s dead is quite different. I was in grade two, my father dropped me off early. My friends weren’t here yet, so I was waiting by myself. That’s when I saw my friend, Mahnoor, walking with her older sister.
