Viola is from a very different world from Prentisstown. This short haired girl is from a place where everyone is equally and respected. When they travel together, they learn a lot about each other. Viola is kind and believe in people, she is helpful and smart. While Todd is scared, unknown of the world and aggressive. Todd is used to no privacy because of the noise while Viola did not even understand what noise was until she meet Todd. On page 70, when he for the first time meets Viola he said: And she’s still just looking at me. With no Noise at all. Even thought they are from two different worlds, the girls and the boy is quite similar. Like I said, Todd is from a world where no one is respected, but he is different and kind, respect Viola despite all the rumors he has learned about women and how men and boys should treat them. He is helping her and trusting her. They help each other survive.

To conclude, individual freedom is one of the things this novel is about. The book explains how privacy, respect for each other and individual freedom is something important in life. Without that Todd and Viola would never become friends and probably should not survive so long as they did. The book compare how it is to live like in Prentisstown and have no Idea what respecting each other is and how it is out in the world with a girl that is full of respect and individual

Locked in the Fear of Our Own Injustice is everywhere, even amongst your own family because sometimes the ones closest to you can hurt you the most and they can try to understand the hurt and pain, but it may truly never be known. Though the majority of the time we never even consider family turning their back on us, both books, “Let Me Go” and “Cry, the Beloved Country” show us that lack of confrontation and injustice among family can turn things for the worst. “Let Me Go” is a deeply compelling story about the attempt to reconcile a relationship between mother and daughter. Helga Schneider is a young child in Berlin growing up amongst one of the horrifying times in history.…

The meaning of freedom can be a very board subject. Freedom, which can mean a great deal for one person can mean something totally different to the next. John Updike’s “A&P” and Kurt Vonnegut’s “Harrison Bergeron” both deal with quite the same aspect of freedom. In “Harrison Bergeron” the character Harrison wanted independence from a society that did not allow any freedom. Intelligent individuals couldn 't think or speak about certain things, in fear of repercussions.…

A theme is something that the author want you to learn. For example; if your book is about a kid who was cut from the football team, but still worked at it and tried out again the next year; you could say the the theme is ‘Never Give up’. In the novel, The Seventh Wish By Kate Messner, there are two clear themes. Sadness is often found in homes, but some people also make room for happiness, is one of my themes. Another theme is on page 121, “ God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; And wisdom to know the difference”.…

The notion of freedom is perceived disparately in the eyes of different people. Whether it is freedom of speech or freedom from an oppressor, everyone desires a varying level of liberty at some point in life. Many liberties are already expressed in everyday lives: the ability to petition, the privilege of pursuing any religion, the right to stand up for one’s beliefs. What may be taken as simple freedoms did not originate for others so simply. Freedom is a concept that is affiliated with demand for it and obstacles of strife.…
