An example of judging leading to good things would be that it could have great effects in social interactions, such as if a person can judge how people will act or feel about a subject then that person would not do whatever would upset the people. Also the more strongly a person feels about how they would like to act in a certain situation, the more likely you are to follow through with it. This will mean that there is no second guessing of oneself, which would lead to missed opportunities. Studies show that when a person who is confident in how their first impression was perceived is more likely to be correct (Calabro 38). This means that if you assume that situation is a certain way then there is a very high chance it will be, so there will not be any awkward moments.
