Never Fit In Lily Case Study

Lily asks for this gift mainly to fit in with her classmates, which could give her an opportunity to connect with them. She does not want this for any other reason except to fit in. She had been the only one not to have something almost everyone else had, even further separating her from the her classmates . Yet, her desire is dismissed as her father ignores her request. She is then filled with sorrow and a feeling that she may never fit in.
