In the United States, Nevada is the only state that legally allows prostitution, and brothels; however there is not one in Nevada’s most popular destination, Las Vegas. John Glionna and Javier Panzar from the Los Angeles Times talked to a brothel owner in Nevada who said, “When you legalize prostitution, you take out all of the criminal elements and get safer sex. These girls are educated, young businesswomen” (Glionna and Panzar).
