On September 26,1984 in New York City, New York there was a man by the name Nev Schulman. He has a wife and a child of his own. He wants to help people see who they are really talking to online, if they say who they are or if they are a fake. He is a hero because he wants to help people and find out their true mysteries. He helps people in many ways he helps pay for stuff when they need help paying for things,also he wants people to have a bright future with the person they are talking to. One day he was on Facebook he discovered he had a message on myspace, from this 8 year old girl. She asked if she could paint his picture, of course he said yes. Then a couple of weeks later he got the painting in the mail. Then one day he was contacted by the older sister of the little girl.
The older sister said she was a photographer too. Soon enough, he fell for her. After a while he told her that he wanted to meet up. She said okay and then later made excuses to not see him. So Nev and his brother Ariel and one of their friends Henry set off on an adventure to find this girl. He was from New York, traveling to Ishpeming, Michigan. They try to visit Megan the girls farm house. But surprisingly, there is no horses on the farm, they say his story is not that

Abby is supposedly a child prodigy who paints beautiful pictures, and as Nev filmed by his brother, Ariel, and a friend of theirs becomes better friends with Abby, he meets Abby's older sister, Megan, and their mother, Angela over Facebook. As he becomes more and more romantically involved with Megan texts, phone calls, little details start to go away, Megan a supposed songwriter, didn't really write all the songs she said she did, and various other things about her turn out to be untrue.
