The human body is a phenomenal system that is skilled in working with a handful of diverse thought functions. For example, neurons are the building blocks of the nervous system. They interact with one another from the nervous system to transmit messages throughout the body, as well as sensory information. In fact, neurons change from different size and shape. The nervous system contain three separate functioning components: the sensory division, the motor division, and the interneurons. First, the sensory neuron transmits reactions from the periphery to the central nervous system. In addition it passes on information about the environment such as light or sound. First, the cell body, also known as soma is located in a sensory neuron which is a small branch from the middle of the axon. The soma is basically the workshop of all the neurons, for example it manufactures proteins, process nutrients, supplies energy to neurons that they need to function. Second, the dendrites are the short branching fibers. Moreover, they are responsible for receiving information from neighboring neurons and transmitting this data to the soma. The main function is to regulate the body's reaction through a perceived threat. SNS begins in the spinal cord, thoracic and lumbar spinal cord. The general response would be for the body to become rapid, tense up, or to be more attentive. For example, sympathetic nervous systems increases heart rate, palms begin to sweat, digestion comes to a halt, lungs began to let bronchi tubes to expand causing rapid or shallow breaths, muscles begin to contract, pupils start to dilate for the reason being to escalate your surroundings of vision, and mouth becomes dry from salvation stopping.
