Have you ever her of Neurofibromatosis? Neurofibromatosis is a disease that can be deadly or very harmful. This disease causes bumps to form all over your skin. It also can cause tumors in any part of the nervous system. Some of the major causes of the this disease is abnormal growth of body part such as, legs, arms, head, neck, etc. Neurofibromatosis can also cause the loss of hearing and sight, it can also cause severe pain. The chromosome that is mutated with this disorder is chromosome 22. Some symptoms of the disorder are tumor enlargement, pigmented dark spots appear on the body (they kind of look like birth marks), and severe pain.
You won't be able to tell if you have Neurofibromatosis on you own. It requires a medical diagnosis. However, if all of a sudden parts of your body grow abnormally and you're in severe pain then I highly suggest that you go and see a doctor because it is easier and faster to treat the disease before it grows to big and takes way longer to cure than it would have before. This disease is untreatable. There is also no way to make you comfortable with life while you have this disease. They have no way to cure the bumps, tumors, and the abnormal growth of body parts. Whenever they visit a doctor they have to get surgery to remove some of the tumors and try to get there overgrown body parts to go back to a normal size.
