Everyone 's a nerd when it comes to something, whether you like it or not. It may be something technology related or just if you lack being social or interactive with people. Everyone has their interests. When it comes to me, I would say I am a nerd about sports. I am always studying the game. Trying to find a way to get better any way possible. Sports are a way for me to relax and take my mind off of other things. They make me feel a sense of security and self-confidence. It gives me something to do when I have nothing else on my schedule. They can help you be more relaxed and relieve any stress you may have. Video games may also help your eyesight researchers have said. They help me see the game better from a different perspective. You can study the formations and schemes that teams may have. Another thing it shows is how the players react to different situations thrown at them. Any little bit of information can help me better myself as a player. There seem to be lots of benefits from playing video games, whether they are true or not is the real question.
Sports give me a chance to show off all the hard work I have done. They give me that feeling of accomplishment and success as a player. After the game, when people shake my hand and sincerely tell me “good game”, that is the ultimate compliment. It brings a big smile to my face as I tell them “thank you.” It gets even better when coaches and college scouts reach out to you and congratulate you on your recent game or milestone you’ve obtained.
