1. What are you looking for in a program to help you achieve your long term goals?
I am looking to apply and match in an acclaimed, reputable and top university based Nephrology program which would support me in being a clinically astute and sound clinical nephrologist, along with a bold emphasis on pursuing clinical research. The program should be diverse, and include the top minds from all over the U.S. and around the world, and should render a friendly environment to learn in. I am not too particular on the location of the program, and am willing to relocate anywhere within mainland U.S.A.

2. Describe your strengths that makes you an excellent candidate for this specialty:

Describe your weaknesses and what do you plan to overcome those:
I honestly believe that I am not a very strong test taker. I have worked very hard on this matter, and have taken the help of numerous faculty members and peers on identifying any particular areas of weakness that I might have. I think that I have examination related stress and fatigue, and this affects my score on tests. I am working very hard on this matter, and practicing more and more questions, especially doing them on a timed mode. I also make it a habit to do questions every day, and discipline myself to study on a consistent basis with a focus of getting a good board score.
I also microscopically dissect all the relevant clinical details (including labs and imaging) of my patients’. This initially led me in lagging behind in my medical documentation as a first year. I however, solicited the feedback of my peers, seniors and several faculty members, including the program leadership, and have improved in my clinical niche and am able to connect the overall big picture in terms of what is happening with my patients’, and don’t get bogged down with the minutest
