When the early humans lived as hunters - gatherers everybody worked everyday leaving the early humans not much time to think of new inventions or develop. However with farming once the poeple are done with their specific job they had free time to think of ideas and improve. The early humans could also interact during their free time and populate as well. Specialized jobs also caused people to look at their job as something more valuable than another's job causing social classes to be made. Patriarchy also began when men thought of themselves as more important than women because men did most of the field work.
