The great Nelson Mandela was a figure known around the globe for his work in South Africa as not only a politician, but also a major contributor to the anti-apartheid movement. Also, lets not forget Mandela was the very first President of South Africa. From an early age, Mandela was on the right path. While studying law at the University of Witwatersrand, he became involved in a large array of politics. However, his first involvement was with anti-colonial politics.
