All he did to change it was never give up. He was totally against the fact that white people had rights that black people didn't, so he was actively working towards the movement of getting rid of racism in South Africa. Because of this, he was put in jail for 27 years, but as soon as he was released, he got right back on protesting. I have done a lot of thinking into wondering what actually brought everyone together in America, so I could reflect it over to South Africa. At first I thought that it all happened on its own, and everyone was brought together over time without any help. But afterwords, I realized that this wasn't the case. I although it may have seemed to be resolved over time, I think it was actually the events outside of the issue that brought everyone together. Nobody really cared about racism when 9/11 was going on, or when wwII was happening, because they were brought together to meet a common goal.
Now, to be absolutely clear, I am NOT suggesting terrorism. Instead, maybe instead of a negative cause of a problem, maybe we could have a positive one. That's why I am suggesting a South African American Football league.
Football is what has brought people together all across the United States of America, weather they are routing for the same team, different teams, or even if your playing together. I'm thinking that creating bi-racial teams playing for certain cities could help bring us all together for a positive
