For those who want receive free or affordable healthcare they would have to live on a reservation and be a part of a recognized tribe. This would put those who do not live on a reservation at a disadvantage and force those who want affordable healthcare to join a recognized tribe. The last benefit our opponents will claim is that Native Americans get to own their own land. As mentioned before there are 326 federally recognized reservations which amounts to about 52.6 million acres. This amount of land is nothing compared to what they owned before the Europeans arrived. A whole population of people have to share this land just to get the benefit; they need to live. Many of the reservations are located in hazardous areas which can result in negative health effects for the Native Americans who live on them.
