There are other things that could also lead to the economy being negatively impacted, one of the the things that could also be impacted are small businesses. With the limited amount of freedom given to business owners it, “will stifle the entrepreneurial spirit, which is a key aspect of a country’s economic growth and development,” again without the incentive of making a lot of profit off of a product, for small business owners, it makes it very hard for them as well to do more than just the bare minimum, especially if they know they are only going to make a certain amount of money no matter how hard they work. Communism is not meant to work, in my opinion just because there will always be a lower-class society. The doctor must make more money than the garbage man. There is a lot of time and schooling that goes into getting a job like a doctor and not a lot of experience needed to be a garbage man. Fascism does not always work either because then we are living in a society where people feel as though the bourgeoise is always controlling them in their everyday lives. There must be a level of order.…

Communism is when everybody in society gets treated one hundred percent equally. This may seem like a wonderful thing, but there are many downsides to it. For starters, one who is working as a waiter and slacking off their job would get the same pay as one who is a surgeon, and working hard to save lives every day. Unfair, is it not? In the mid 1900s, during the Cold War, the United States and the Soviet Union—who practiced communism—were competing to produce better weaponry.…

The Pros and Cons of Communism On paper, communism doesn’t seem like that bad of a thing, and certain aspects of communism aren’t that bad, however communism does have its downfalls. According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of communism is, “a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed”, “System” as in government system, and “goods” meaning anything from money to food. A communist system would mean, for example, if a group of 100 farmers produced 1,000 potatoes, each farmer would get ten potatoes. On paper, this sounds like a fair and good idea, however, execution is everything.…

To begin, a simple way to explain communism is that it is an idea that everyone in a given society receives equal shares of the benefits derived from labor. Communism allows the poor to rise up and attain financial and social status equal to that of middle-class landowners or business leaders. In order for everyone to achieve equality, wealth is redistributed so that the members of the upper class are brought down to the same financial and social level as the middle class.…
