Let’s be honest, we’ve all downloaded a form of pirated entertainment at least once in our lifetimes. It could’ve been your favorite pop album, or a 20 minute TV show you’re enjoying at the moment. But what we fail to realize is how it actively hurts the creators, and everyone involved. Illegally downloaded entertainment hurts many without your knowledge of it, but can easily be solved through the utilization of one of two methods.

II. Illegally downloaded entertainment can be solved in two different ways.
A. Purchasing or downloading free versions of Streaming Services.
1. Most music streaming applications include a limited free version, allowing you to listen to all your favorite songs right from your cellular device or personal computers, though periodically an ad plays to pay for the service. For 9.99 a month you have ad-free access to thousands of songs that you can choose from and play whenever you like.
2. For as low as $7.99, movie streaming sites like Hulu and Netflix provides you with a plethora of options to choose from to watch on your television.
B. Listening to your favorite music on video sharing sites such as YouTube.
1. YouTube provides a movie watching feature that allows you to watch a movie for as low as $2.99.
2. Most major record companies upload their artist’s music on personalized VEVO accounts to allow the fans to listen to music for free, as long as you have an active internet connection
