In the You tube video, every time Penny exhibits correct behavior she is awarded with a treat. When she shows incorrect behavior Sheldon allows her to adjust it by saying come again and then gives her another treat. This was more sophisticated for me to understand the first time I watched the video but after I few times I got the picture.
