Rappers go back and forth about shooting each other and not being scared to stand up to them. When a child hears his favorite rapper rapping about standing up to another rapper or someone else it causes that child to feel like he can react in the same way. He/she thinks it will solve the problem when really it turns into a tragedy or a lot of trouble because the rappers in the songs rap about solving their arguments and troubles through gun violence or some other type of action that results in death or tragedy(Violent rap lyrics, 2008). Violent music beats and their lyrics also stirr the attitudes of people. An experiment was done where 500 college students subjects were found to experience an increase in agressive thoughts after listening to songs with violent lyrics. Those subjected to the music(Violent Rap, 2008). The rhythm and message of the music would be so much better without profanity and gun noises in the backround. Have you ever listen to the radio and your favorite hip hop song came on but you complain because you can 't hear all the words to enjoy your song all you hear is "bleep bleep 'bleep" or the radio station just blanks the profanity out. The way music influences people is making bad objects and situations sound right. Not all of this is Rappers faults maybe it 's just come of the people 's up bringings.
