These individuals had to have an IQ lower than 100 and/or be in the non-taxpayers bracket. They would receive one thousand dollars for every IQ point below 100. Another program of incentives was ‘The Denver Dollar-A-Day Program’ which was implemented in the 1990s, this program offered teenage mothers a dollar a day in order to keep them from getting pregnant again. The third incentive is ‘Incentives for Women on Welfare to Use Contraception,’ this game women on welfare extra payments, from $100 to $500, if they were using contraception (Norplant implants). Sterilization was approved for repeat criminals, rapists and mentally retarded individuals in 31 states by 1925 and was then introduced to Canada and Europe around the same year. In Sweden alone by 1974 there had been 60,000 ‘mentally retarded’ women sterilized and by 1939 in Germany almost 300,000 sterilizations had been conducted. The second compulsion was ‘Parental Demands for Sterilization,’ where parents were telling doctors to sterilize their children, because they were not fit to become pregnant due to their mental state. This was acceptable before WWII, however the decades closely following the war there was great protest against then, and then it was acceptable again towards to end of the 20th century. ’Sterilization of Female Criminals’ was looked at next, which gave female criminals the option of being placed in jail or having a temporary implant keeping them from having children during their probation sentence, if eugenics had its way, the women would have been permanently sterilized. To go with that, ‘Sterilization of Male Criminals’ is aimed at child abusers who can be sterilized by chemicals (or castrated in Germany), for a lesser sentence. The population has a right to be protected from these types of criminals (both female and male), and be protected from their offspring who have a potential to grow up exactly
