Bottled water is better but not for all the good reasons. Financially, bottled water is cheaper than tap water. Cases are provided at wholesale stores for discounted prices. Bottled water also goes through a lengthier process to be cleaned. First of all unlike what Annie Leonard had stated, bottled water is, in fact, an extremely well regulated product that is proven to be strictly coordinated by the IBWA, making it also healthy for the society. In Annie’s script “The Story of Bottled Water,” she had once stated, “...In many ways bottled water is less regulated than tap.” Although she claimed that bottled water is less regulated than tap water, the fact still remain that bottled water is generally cleaner and more coordinated than tap as proven by IBWA, an association formed by hundreds of experts, in the statement, “Bottled water is a packaged food product regulated by the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which requires bottled water to comply with bottled water-specific…

In my honest opinion, tap water should be a more favored choice because it can be purified and put into non plastic bottles. In various parts of the passage “Goodbye, Bottled Water?” it explains how plastic water bottles take years to biodegrade, leaking toxic additives into the ground water.…
