If the couple once had a luxurious home both parties now have to make a downgrade into economical budgets living facility. Whichever parent has custody of the children typically end up welfare to support the family. This is because prior to the divorce the relationship had two sources of income, since one is missing the parent has to find another source of help which in most cases is welfare.
