The answer to this health issue does not lie in eliminating all use of technology. That would not be realistic in the world we live in today. The answer lies within an adolescent’s social support. Adults need to come together to teach adolescents that staying active can be fun and easy. They can do this by setting strong examples and giving them the resources to use to do so. Parents can easily create an exercise routine for their children with little to no cost. They can also stock the house with healthy snacks instead of junk food. Teachers can make a point to regularly remind students to walk around during lunch and teach them the health benefits of doing so. Lastly, role models can continue to promote a healthy life style by painting an image of themselves though the media that physical activity is an important part of being successful in
