It has the ability to allow citizens to keep updates on each other’s daily lives, as well as give society the opportunity to talk to whoever they want when they want. This way social media can be looked at as both a blessing and a curse. While it can be a very beneficial tool that allows people to keep in touch with friends and family, social media can also have negative impacts on relationships. The easy access of communication with one another, may lead into “temptation and addiction of contacting a past love or crush” (Dockterman).
