Social media in addition to facilitate us in conducting a social activity media also provide a negative and positive impact for its users. Social media have many application like instagram, facebook,twitter and many more. There are several supporting argument and centra arguments for does social media give negative effect for its users?
The first negative effect on the social aspect in social media can make disappearance of national and local cultural identity. People lifestyles now tend to follow the times that tend to imitate western society that is not in accordance with Indonesian culture.for example at first our nation is always dressed politely and closed but not anymore, because of the influence of clothes that do not fit.
The second negative effect on the mental health in social media. An lead to bullying actions performed to another people or fellow users of social media. For example when teenagers do not like friends for some reason they can do bullying in social media like instagram,facebook, and twitter and many more …show more content…
Because social media can cause some things that allow us to be able to do things we don’t want as in example that have been listed above and many more other things that are not desirable. So we should be able to use social media wisely. Because if we do or realize it is using social media wisely then we also as a good citizen can make a country that developed into a developed country that has a quality standard of living. Also should be in the use of social media children who are still under age or not old enough to be supervised in order not to happen things that are not
