There is a negative financial impact related to jeopardize patient safety. The less positive patient outcomes and satisfactions, the less reimbursement the hospitals are getting (Anthony and Vidal, 2010). When patient activities are being missed, such as personal care, turning and ambulating, that will lead to poor outcomes. This can further lead to decreased reimbursement from the insurance health company, such as Medicaid and Medicare. If patients develop pressure ulcers and deep vein thrombosis while they are at the hospital, this is considered a sign of negligence. Those medical problems can be preventable by doing leg exercises and repositioning patients. Therefore, those incidences can lead to decrease patients’ satisfaction and reimbursement
