I think the reason why Americans have negative view on bureaucracy is because they are too many rules and fund not being distribute properly. Most people think they don't work as hard as those who work at private companies. I think the criticism is reasonable because Bureaucrats never admit they have enough space, money, staff, or resources. They are always looking to squeeze something down. On the other hand, some people might just be upset with the way things are going in their lives and they are blaming the government. It could be bad experiences someone might have in the past with a bureaucratic agency or office. Not to mention the DMV. Overall my experience with the government has been mixed.
