How Does Anime Lead To Aggressive Behavior?

Certain anime have been found to contribute to aggressive behavior in students. A study stated that children like to watch anime because it is fun, and has humor and violence. Most of the students would learn and imitate from their observation through watching those programs. If they would ever feel intimidated, they would hit, attack, or kick the person. (Omar, 2011)
However, many have also said that anime and manga has show good effects on them. A poll’s result states that 58.44% of the respondents said that anime has improved them or their life while only 6.49% said that anime has ruined them. The remaining 35.06% responded saying that anime had no effect on them or their life. There are many anime and manga that give importance to love, friendship, and family, as well as priorities and sacrifice. These have given other viewers and readers a new light and view on their life as they reflect what they have watched or read. Other people only watch or read for entertainment, and not for enlightenment or to obtain new views. (Goryo, 2013)
