Negative Effect Of Screen Time On Children

I believe the effects of screen time on developing children are more negative than positive. My opinion on the subject of screen time has developed from personal experience, not only after reading opposing articles on the subject. I know how disctracting television and movies can be when it comes to productivity. There are a few positives when it comes to visual learners and developing certain relationships at younger ages. Children who are inside watching screens more often are also safe and easier supervised by parents. There have been studies that show encouragement in learning and social contact, with a decrease in fear and anger. Vocabulary increase has also been shown for some. I can see how this might be true for a minority but overall
