When asked if there were any other problems, client focused on daily routines that no longer happens, due to not leaving the house. Client was then encouraged to remember the last time she felt anxious. When reviving the situation, therapist tried to obtained more additional information to be able to establish a typical event/situation. Bodily sensations and feelings were exposed and the question “what was going through your mind” was used to elicit any possible Negative Automatic Thoughts (NATs). Client perceives all that symptoms/changes as being dangerous and reports the following NAT: “I thought I was going to die.”
