Neel Reid was an architect in the early nineteenth century. He was born in Jacksonville, Alabama in 1885. He lived In Jacksonville, Alabama for majority of his childhood before his family relocated to Macon, Georgia when he was 18 years old in 1903. His family was getting their house in Macon, Georgia remolded in 1903 when he met Curran R. Ellis the architect they hired to remodel their family home. Curran R. Ellis introduced Neel Reid to the world of architecture while he was remolding his family’s home Neel Reid impressed Curran R. Ellis which was the start of Neel Reid’s architecture career. Curran R.
