A second implementation of NFC is used in monitoring the temperature of temperature sensitive items. The loggers that are being used have NFC technology and can give users real time data 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There a multiple fields that these temperature sensors are being used to manage materials. The sensors are used to ensure food s being transported to grocery stores through freight containers remain at safe temperatures. Hospitals can use temperature sensors to determine if unused IV bags are still within a temperature range to remain effective. As the technology evolved over time users were able to send text messages by spelling out words with the number keys on the phone. Now the phones are smart and a smart phone is basically a mini computer you carry in your pocket or purse.
